They're Real- Benefits Famous Mascara...

Now lets excuse the fact that I haven't plucked my eyebrows in while but i'm soon aiming for that to change... As my last review I received this as a present for my birthday. Although, this is a high end brand and maybe more expensive than a usual drugstore brand but let me get to the point and say that it is entirely worth it.

Now, Im pretty much a 'judge a book by its cover' kind of girl when it comes to products. I know that although drug store brands make an effort with a products packaging, to me it never beats high end. I absolutely love Benefits packaging; with all of there products. I think what attracts me is that they're very good in having their own style and being what I call quirky.

Real:

Starting with my boring eye... I thought i'd start with what they on there packaging call 'Real!' which is my real eye as it is. I love wearing mascara and if your not a huge lover of make up or even just starting out your collection, the main thing you'll first own and first buy will be mascara. As it is just such an enhancement on your eye; especially if your like me and have 'NO!' Eyelashes. Not literally but lets just say compared to other people (mine could be longer).

BEYOND Real:
As what benefit calls the 'BEYOND Real' . I have to say to my original lashes it makes my lashes look like i've been to the moon and back or least just have put loads of eyelash growing serum onto them! Even though, being a massive eyeliner fan, I think that this look is just beautiful which anyone could pull off. I put up my hands in defeat and say that this mascara makes me want to wear only mascara without eyeliner. For me this is a big commitment.

Give this mascara a go as I'm more than sure you will definitely be satisfied. Enjoy your trip to the moon and back.

Honey- Marc Jacobs Review.

For my birthday I had a very long list of presents and gift ideas for people to buy me for my birthday. When I then opened this up as a present from my brother, I was so happy as I have been wanting this for ages. I don't know what exactly attracts me to the perfume, I sometimes think that the packaging is gorgeous and really displays the perfume itself.

As you can see with the bottle its beautiful and is based on bumble bees as I like to call them. I think that I could almost just buy perfumes like this for there packaging.

This is such a lovely scent perfume. Its subtle but noticeable, although it is sweet; it comes across as a very imminent aroma. For me, I love perfumes which are not too strong or which are not sweet and slightly sickly to smell, so this perfume fits perfectly into my category. Which I suppose is why I like it so much.

As putting the perfume on my birthday list, my sister had a really what I found cute idea of instead of buying me the perfume, she bought me the necklace which holds a solid form of the perfume inside it. This is such a witty idea from the company as maybe the perfume might not last on you all day this petite yet pretty necklace, is so handy. You can wear it round your neck and when you feel like you might need a little spruce up of the scent you simply slide it open and dab a small amount of the solid onto your neck or wrists.

I highly recommend smelling this perfume or even grabbing a small tester to try it out. As i'm sure if your like me and your perfume categories are pretty much the same as my "checklists" then i'm sure you'd love this perfume. As I seem to have.

Autumnal Product Favourites.

To me the warmth of autumn is the most important thing of the year. Making a house feel cozy and warm or just on the sofa with a blanket on a rainy day is the ‘autumn day’ which is yours. You can do what you want when you want or at least most of the time. During my rainy days or just on the days where I can’t simply be bothered to do anything, it almost turns into a wellness day where all my most expensive bubble baths, body butters and my love for burning candles come to life.
So without further a do here are my warmest autumn products for those special days.

This is a perfect candle for those warm days, when all you want is a nice smelling house or a candle sitting next to your nice big bubbly bath.

Ugg Australia -Slippers
When all you want is cozy feet without getting all sweaty then these slippers are my favourite.  Although being pricey for some, they are my absolute day in essential.  As being  renounced for there fabric and normal Ugg shoes, these have definitely succeeded in being my favourite slippers for the year. Since my sister buying these by accident for christmas, I’m glad it was for accident because otherwise I would have never known about these ingenious slips.

Boohoo.com

Recently I have absolutely been loving this website. For online shopping, I highly recommend taking a look at this website as for men and women’s clothing, accessories and shoes… all the items retail at a reasonable price.
To be honest, the sub total at the moment of my online basket it getting higher and higher as more and more items are attracting my eyes. Especially for winter, there are beautiful warm looking outfits and cosy jumpers for Christmas for men and women. I will be very much soon be checking out at the till and waiting for my ordered goods…
Taylor Floral and Paisley Print Smock DressTalia Twisted Tunic JumperMatilda Fur Trim Lace Up BootTilly Skinny Diamante Stud TreggingsRipstop Fur Lined BomberContrast Sole Suede Brogue BootsFairisle Jaquard JumperMixed Yarn Reverse Knit Jumper
These are some of the variety of items which are new in for winter at boohoo.com. I personally love this website as although there are many items which look like designer brands rather than high street. I think the most expensive item in this selection was only £45 which for any jacket is ridiculously cheap for a good quality jacket.
I know that my birthday/Christmas list is getting bigger by the minute; this website is also fantastic for Christmas gifts and ideas.

Waking Up to Winter.

Now although autumn is still here, winter is only round the corner. Waking up suddenly to very cold mornings and long tired days is not the best thing in the world, but least we know that we’ve officially hit autumn/winter right?
I can’t wait for the day to be over, when you can come home from work or school although the evenings get darker the coziness of your heating and warmth of your house truly comes to life. But then you know your day is done and the evening of chills battle the heating of our homes beat the love to you and find the happiness and content of yourself. Although, you find life around you might continue as normal, your stress free evening can unravel and form into ‘myself’ zone.
As for me the thought of a warm cozy bed sits in the back of my mind all day, I all day have that feeling of an amicable conscious and a sense of well being. Having a stressful, tiresome day is always hard so with me thinking of sleep all day; by the time I actually get home I’m ready for bed!
Waking up to the imminent chills or that biting, crisp air makes it hard to get out of bed (I’m sure we all know that feeling). Halloween...Fireworks...Christmas... New years.... and a new beginning; is the joys of winter. Which is the best time of year, after all summer and spring, winters the season that tells a story. That to me when we know that autumn has arrived and winter is soon to follow.

My 'Pamper Evening' Essentials.

Now don’t you just love the day or night when you know that you haven’t got to do anything and you end up planning your whole evening to revolve around that certain ‘spa’ experience. In my opinion, every one deserves that treat after a long week or month  of doing what generally happens in life but I won’t go into to much detail about that… My pamper evening essentials are my must haves for any spa day/night experience, there what I like to call a divination. The moment the sound of running a hot bath  or blowing the bubbles onto the wall, to even lighting up those candles that you haven’t lit in months because they’re too pretty to light; to me that’s when you know you’ve accomplished your official ‘spa’ experience.

.

Well I suppose this is where I start. First of all, I suggest that lighting up those delicate candles and fill up your bath tub with lots of bubbles. Body shop are just my absolute favourite shop for body products…. There new limited addition products which are in there recent addition range ‘peach vineyard’. It’s gorgeous, every product in this scent just smells so fresh and clean. The body butter, which is great to lather over your skin after a good soak because it’s so soft on your skin and is just a nice fresh way to cleanse your body (the bottom right). The top left is the same scent just as a a body scrub; when your in the bath and a lovely scrub of the whole body (as my Nan always said to me to wash away all your sins) it’s alluring creamy, intense mixture is perfect for that day when you want to make a special effort. The top right is a body spray which is ‘pink grapefruit’ scented. This is again, perfect and light, just a small spritz after your bath is all you need for that full fresh sensation. Finally bottom left, my favourites. The candles… Is it me or am I addicted to candles? There just bewitching and lovely, so grab some candles and make the most of them.
IMG_3411
This is a beautiful facial wash. It unblocks pores and just generally cleans deep down, under where anything shows. I took this on holiday and it was lovely; especially for and oily skin type. It’s a great facial primer before applying  any face mask. It’s a soft, white, foam, which is light and refreshening.
IMG_3410
With every facial cleanser, you need a facial scrub. This helps to exfoliate your skin and get rid of any dead skin or impurities. It’s vitalising and again deep cleansing, which is great when in the bath, or just any kind of wellness days.
IMG_3409
With any spa, or spa day…. there comes the facial mask. This one by Neutrogena is not only inexpensive but can be used as a daily facial wash as well as once off face mask. It’s perfect to leave on your face, whilst in the bath and maybe you could sneakily refresh your eyes with cucumber slices, whilst in the process.
IMG_3408
Although, slightly more expensive, Clinique toner is great for your face with impurities and just to generally soak up any unwanted moisture. As you can see, this is a well loved toner and when it runs out, I would definitely repurchase. It comes in a large bottle and so far has lasted me a year using it most morning and nights.
IMG_3407
Now, being only  able to purchase this in Australia, but i’m sure you can get it online too. It’s immense and foolproof with not just un-chaffing lips but you can use it for bites, stings, and any form of chaffing. This is a nice size lip balm as it lasts ages and when applying it on your lips, it stay on for ages.
IMG_3406
I love this big sized cotton pads, I highly recommend these as for taking of make up or other products you only need one big one other than loads of small ones.
IMG_3405
Absolute favourite shampoo and conditioner ever. Tresemme brought out there new Keratin Smooth range and this is amazing stuff. For dyed hair which is dry or just hair which needs more moisture this is so good for that. I really recommend if your buying a new set of hair care products, try out these products because they really are worth it.
IMG_3404
As you can see from the photograph, it’s practically empty but this Radox shower gel is sensational with chamomile and jojoba oil. Which smells beautiful and is thick and creamy when used with a scrunchy sponge.
IMG_3403
Although its not summer, I love this colour by Barry M. It’s a summer yellow, but however just because it’s not summer doesn’t mean that you can’t wear a bright colour right? It just gives you an excuse to rock the sun, making it shine wherever you are!
IMG_3402
So they’re all my pamper evening essentials, if you have tried or are going to try any of these…. let me know what your responses to these are.
P.S. REMEMBER, It’s your day so treat yourself and make an effort or just use the spare time that you have even on a sunday or sunday night to do what you wish to do. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Wrapping Up in Tartan.

As autumn has arrived, so has tartan. As tartan is well advertised by company’s such as ‘Burberry’ , it has now become popular with more high street brands with more affordable tartan wear available. Through out years, tartan skirts (kilts), jumpers and coats have always been the more bizarre, alternative fashion. The new coats this autumn are stunning with chunky buttons, as well as connecting the more ‘different’ styles of tartan to the more modern day trend.
